Medical notes: This patient had suffered repeated attacks of Dysentery in the West Indies from the year 1830 to 1839. He then returned to England and remained in tolerable health up to the year 1845 when while stationed in Ireland he was again attacked with his old complaint and suffered again severely the following year.
