Medical notes: 'Pt. [Patient] idiotic. History supplied by father (unintelligent). 'Since aet. 14: pt [patient] mind childish – worse last 2 yrs [years]: 'Sep /93 {September 1893] I.P. [In-patient] Westminster Hosp. [Hospital] 5 wks [weeks]. 'meningitis'. 'Xmas /93 [1893] [In-patient Westminster Hospital] many fits – aphasia. 8 weeks. Since then 'no fits'. 'liable to attacks of collapse(!)'. Since Oct /98 [October 1898]: sinuses over either lip[?] - discharging. These sinuses were not explored during her stay in Hosp. [Hospital]. Bedsores developed. Mental condition remained feeble. Was removed to separation ward on account of somewhat noisy and violent excitement'
