Medical notes: 'C.O.[Condition On Admission?] - Anaemia and indigestion. F.H. [Family History] – Nil ad rem. P.H. [Previous History] – Lived in London 90 yrs [years]. Never abroad. Abstained 16 yrs [years]. No venereal disease. P.I. [Present Illness] – Well till Spring 05 [1905] when began to suffer from indigestion. Lost 2 stone in a few months. Last August jaundiced. Dec 03 [December 1903] – Vomited daily for 6 weeks. No history of haematemesis or melaena. Recently becoming very anaemic'
