Medical notes: The patient was admitted with a small abscess on the dorsum of the foot followed by inflamed absorbents. Abscesses formed in the thigh and groin and on the 23rd December he was seized with rigors, vomiting and profuse perspirations and complained of pain in the situation of the lower part of the left lung.
