He had also fracture of the lower fourth of the right femur & a wound of the integument at the upper part of the forehead. He had been drinking largely during the preceding day & went to bed intoxicated, but awoke during the night & fancied he heard thieves breaking into the house, whereupon he got out on the roof & in leaning over the parapet, lost his balance, & fell into the street below, a distance of 40ft’
