Medical notes: This woman had bourne twelve children, all of them prematurely. She was engaged in giving errands for her husband who is a tailor, and during the damp foggy November weather was often compelled to wear wet shoes all day. Towards the end of the months she caught a violent cold and then a cough and her breathing became affected.
Body parts examined in the post mortem: Thorax and abdomen. The uterus contained a healthy looking foetus.
