Medical notes: 'A man, aged 32 years, had had all his life a mass of molluscum fibrosum covering the back of the left side of the head and neck and upper part of the left front of the chest and left shoulder. This growth had not increased in size except in so far as it had developed equally with the rest of the patient's body. The skin of the body was generally brownish, but scattered all over the trunk, limbs, head, and neck there were areas where the pigmentation was concentrated either into patches of considerable size, as large as a shilling or in a few instances larger, or in small discrete patches resembling freckles'

Preliminary Training School registers

Set of 17 square format registers containing information about nurses entering Preliminary Training School (latterly referred to as the Introductory Course), including name, date of birth, address, next of kin, previous occupation, education, weekly test and quiz marks, lecture and class attendance, exam results, remarks on practical work, and pasted/taped-in black and white group photographs annotated with names (though these are not included in vols 2 and 3). The earlier registers include a minority of trainees based at Victoria Hospital for Children (Tite Street) and Princess Beatrice Hospital (Old Brompton Road) in addition to those at St George's.

Atkinson Morley's Hospital

Includes two versions of a prospectus booklet (one for state registered and one for state enrolled nurses) for the course in neurosurgical and neurological nursing at Atkinson Morley's Hospital and a brochure about the Wolfson Medical Rehabilitation Centre (part of the Atkinson Morley site); the latter has a reprinted 1967 article from the British Hospital Journal & Social Service Review inserted.
