Medical notes: 'This lad was brought to the hospital in a state which showed that he had been very much neglected. He was then in a dying state, quite delirious, & unable to give any account of his feelings. It appeared that before Christmas he had been in University College Hospital with remittent(?) fever. After leaving the hospital in January he came home & never seemed to rally thoroughly, creeping about the house & existing rather than living. He had no nurse to attend upon him & was consequently in an extremely filthy condition’
Body parts examined in the post mortem: Cranium, thorax, abdomen
