After a fortnight she was engaged as kitchenmaid at St George's Hospital and was laid up with scalded hand. The urine was then found to contain both blood & pus. The discharge of blood ceased after a few days in bed'

He was treated of ten with quinine without relief, but as an out-patient at this hospital recovered after the use of arsenic in Aug 1880 & Jan 1881'
