She could give very little account of herself, and yet seemed fully to understand the questions put to her, put out her tongue, sat up in bed &c just as she was ordered. She was reported by her friends to be a married woman, having had 3 children, with easy labours, & 4 miscarriages since, the last of which occurring about Xmas was attended with a good deal of flooding, and she had continued to have a red discharge more or less ever since. When at chapel on 25th inst. she created a disturbance by talking incoherently; she has been strange in her manner ever since, and occasionally very noisy & troublesome’

The accident occurred at 2pm on the 2nd of April. He was perfectly sober at the time, when picked up was not insensible. He was carried home & attended by a medical man in Westminster who found him palsied in the lower extremities’
