Medical notes: She was admitted as a case of toxic polyneuritis and right facial palsy, from which she seemed at first to be slowly recovering. Then gastric symptoms of vomiting and epigastric pain came on. A fractional test meal was negative, but X-ray suggested pyloric neoplasm. X-ray of chest showed nothing abnormal in the lung fields, but suggested secondary malignant deposits in the ribs.
