Medical notes: 'History: She was originally admitted Aug. [August] '21. M.R. [Medical Register] 656 with malaria, B.T. diarrhoea and wasting. Her condition slowly improved and she was sent to Wimbledon where her condition began rapidly to deteriorate, and she consequently returned to St George'. On admission: 14/12/'21 Very weak and extremely emaciated. The tongue appeared raw but was not definitely ulcerated. T. [Temperature] 99, P. [Pulse] 94, R [Respiration rate] 24. Pulse very feeble. Abdomen retracted. Course: There were about 4 small, pale, offensive stools a day. For a time there was a little improvement but then she slowly got weaker and died. 13/1/'22'
