Medical notes: 'Pt [Patient] admitted on Apr. 9 when he had sustained a fracture through the middle of the thigh by a fall. This was put up in an Horgen's splint. A history of his being an O.P. [Out-patient] at Brompton was obtained and his sputum contained TB [tuberculosis]'
