Menstruation commenced at 16 yrs [years], was regular every 3 ½ weeks and the loss was normal. There had been no change in the menstrual type and there was no intermenstrual leucorrhoea. She stated that her urine had always run from her on the slightest effort and 'that she had had a half hourly frequency by day and night'. Pt [Patient] was admitted for Abdominal Tumour associated with abdominal and lumbar pain of 4 months duration. The pain had got progressively worse and for three weeks she had had great pain on micturition but no pain on defaecation'

Medical notes: 'The child was admitted with a history of two days' illness which commenced with the occurrence of pustules? On the face. These increased in size and a swelling was noticed on the outer side of the right foot. […] On Sept [September] 1st a detailed note was made on the condition of the skin: - 'Skin condition is polymorphic. It affects mainly face, neck, chest and thighs. It consists chiefly of large bullae in all stages. No actual pustules. Some patches of indurated erythema. No eruption around mouth or anus or on buttocks, or on palms of hands or soles of feet. Probably simple Pemphigus'. The Dermatologist saw the child on Sep. [September] 5 and expressed the opinion that the eruption was not syphilitic but a Pemphigus Neonatorum of Streptococcal origin'
