On the evening of Jan [January] 28th since nothing was heard of the patient her room was broken into: she was found lying on the floor almost naked, with a packet of sulphonal by her side and with some of the same powder adhering to her lips. She was completely comatose and apparently dead. A doctor who was sent for administered a large dose of strychnine and sent her to the hospital'
