On the 17.4.23 Mr Frankau performed a Polyer's Partial gastrectomy, the stomach having a large malignant ulcer on the lesser curviture close to the pylorus'

Medical notes: He fractured the left femur in 1928, already the seat of chronic osteomyelitis from a fracture plated at the age of 3. He had had two subsequent operations for the same condition. He was an Inpatient in January 1931 with a tender swelling and a discharging sinus on the outer side of the middle third of the left thigh. Vaccines were given on three occasions and mercurochrome on two. Streptococci were grown from the blood. The patient died three weeks after admission.
