Medical notes: 'This patient was first admitted on Feb 8 with acute rheumatism. From this he made a good recovery without cardiac affection & was sent to Wimbledon [Atkinson Morley Convalescent Home and Hospital] on March 8. While there his manner was noticed to be strange & morose & he occasionally refused his food. On March 19 he was found wandering about stark naked & talking incoherently & two days later was readmitted here when his temperature was 104.8, pulse 124’
