This was on May 20th - His symptoms abated till the 31st - On that day he had a recurrence of pain accompanied by some diarrhoea - This persisted till Sunday June 10th when the pain became worse than it ever had been and its distribution more general over the abdomen'

The pain came on suddenly and was so severe as to make her faint - On admission she was found to be an emaciated woman breathing somewhat quickly and complaining of pain and swelling in the stomach'
