Born Ernest Graham Gordon Little in Bengal, India. He completed an arts degree at South African College, Cape University in 1887 and then went on to study medicine at Guy's Hospital and St George's Hospital, which he entered with an entrance scholarship. While at St George's Hospital he won the Acland prize for clinical medicine. MD Lond LSA MRCS FRCP in 1906.

After qualifying he went to Dublin and Paris for further studies before working as a House Physician at the City of London Hospital for Diseases of the Chest and then St George's Hospital. He then became assistant physician and later the consulting physician at the East London Hospital for Children. From 1902 to 1934 and then from 1940 to 1941 he was the physician in charge of the skin department and a lecturer on dermatology at St Mary's Hospital. During World War I he was a consulting dermatologist to the London military hospitals.

He represented London medical graduates in the Senate of London University from 1906 to 1950 and became chairman of the University Graduates Association in 1922. He was the Independent M.P. for London University between 1924 and 1950, when university seats were abolished. He was a vocal opponent of the National Health Service. He was knighted in 1931 at which time he changed his surname to Graham-Little.

He married Sarah Helen (born Kendall) in 1911 and they had one son and one daughter. Died in Epsom in 1950.
