Medical notes: 'History. Father consumptive: one sister subject to fits. Ac. Rheum [Acromioclavicular Rheumatism?]: dysentery in summers of 1872 and 3. Robust till 1872: disliked fat: nothing else remarkable in previous history. Weak since 1872. Swelling in neck since 1873. (decreasing during May). Cough commenced gradually, early in May, without either rigor or nasal catarrh. Increased steadily in severity. Expectoration from the 4th or 5th day. Wasting from its commencement: night sweats from 2nd week'
