Medical notes: He was admitted in 1876 stating that for four years he had been suffering from chronic rheumatic pains, for which he was invalided from Bombay. He complained of general pains in the shoulder, head and legs, he lost some power in the arms, his speech became indistinct he had headaches and was losing flesh.
