Geschiedenis
Born 14th December 1865 at Ootacamund, Neilgherry Hills [Nilgiri Hills], Madras [Chennai], India. Son of Sir C. Colvin-Smith, deputy surgeon-general of Secunderabad, India.
Admitted into Caius College, University of Cambridge, in 1883. Entered St George's Hospital Medical School in 1887, where he became house physician. MRCS and LRCP in 1890.
Went into practice in Hendon in London in 1895 before moving to Cromer in Norfolk in 1902, where he became the medical officer of health for Cromer Urban District Council in 1909. He served as secretary of the Norfolk Panel and Local Medical Committee between 1923, and 1939 and then was president of the Norfolk Branch of the British Medical Association between 1921 and 1922. He died in 1963 in Norfolk.
