Medical notes: 'History: A week ago pt. [patient] had two attacks of pain over the sternum with a sense of constriction. The first attack lasted 1 hour, the second about 24 huurs. She had a similar attack this morning. P.M.H. [Previous medical history] Indigestion for 30 years. She had had a number of miscarriages and still born children. On admission: 4/3/'22. Obese woman. T.P.R. [Temperature, pulse, respiration rate] 99, 38, 24. Lungs. Rhonchi at base. Heart. A.B. impalpable. Sounds faint. There was tenderness over the midsternum. Some arrhythmia. Pulse equal on both sides. B.P. [Blood pressure] 125 mm. Abdomen N.A.D. [Nothing abnormal discovered] C.N.S. [Central nervous system] N.A.D. [Nothing abnormal discovered]. Course…. The Wassermann was negative. Three days after admission she sudenly [sic] felt faint, became breathless and cyanosed and died. 8.3.'22'
