Medical notes: The patient had been growing more and more weak and languid for two years, during the last ten months of which the legs had swollen. There had also been a cough and dyspnoea for four months, the urine had been scanty and the abdomen had swelled.
Body parts examined in the post mortem: Pleurae, lungs, bronchi, pericardium, heart, liver, kidneys, spleen and uterus.
